We are looking for a Detail-Oriented Plastic Repair Technician for our client Werksta in Örebro. Seize the opportunity and apply today!

About the position We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated plastic repair technician for Werksta's collision repair shop in Örebro. In this role, you will work on repairing and restoring plastic parts on vehicles, such as bumpers, fenders, mirror covers, and other components. The work involves assessing damage, disassembling and cleaning parts, as well as performing plastic welding, gluing, and reinforcement depending on the extent of the damage. You will also be responsible for filling, sanding, and priming surfaces in preparation for painting, in close collaboration with our painters and body repair technicians.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with different types of plastics (PP, ABS, PUR, etc.)
• Experience in sanding, filling, and priming
• Good administrative skills and experience in documenting and working in a structured manner.
• Good computer skills and understanding of digital workflows.
• Driver's license (B) is a requirement.
• Attention to detail and good handling of heat tools and adhesives
• Understanding of vehicle construction and disassembly

Your profile We are looking for someone with a good understanding of different plastic materials and experience with tools used in plastic repairs. You work in a structured manner, have an eye for detail, and take responsibility for ensuring that the work is performed to a high standard. Experience from a collision repair shop is an advantage, as well as knowledge of disassembly and assembly of body parts.
